Don't call it a comeback...

Don't call it a comeback
I been here for years
Rockin my peers and puttin suckas in fear
Makin the tears rain down like a monsoon
Listen to the bass go boom
Explosion, overpowerin
Over the competition, I'm towerin
Wreckin shop, when I drop lyrics that'll make you call the cops
Don't you dare stare, you betta move
Don't ever compare me
To the rest that'll get sliced and diced
Competition's payin the price
I'm gonna knock you out. HUUUH!!!
Mama said knock you out. HUUUH!!!

Swinging Along

A few weeks ago, Annelyse and Cousin Ellis (not pictured) went to Golden Gate Park. Annelyse really loved her first time on the swing - especially eating the front rubber part (gross out)!

Ode to Ellis

A long, long time ago... on a high mountaintop... a very important rule was etched into a stone tablet and it went something like this - Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbors Wife. It begs the question - Does this rule apply to your brother and sister's kids? We can honestly say that we covet our nephew Ellis. Do we need to go to confession? Perhaps say three hail Mary's? Being that we are not Catholic, we will say three hail Ellis'. Hail Ellis! Hail Ellis! Hail Ellis!

What's up Doc?

Who would have thought that one day we would be praying for labor pains. The induction hormone that is slowly being infused into Bethany's body has yet to produce any viable effects. Being 9 days over due and in the hospital for the past 2 days does have its benefits though. Unbeknownst to us, someone must have sent out invitations or sold tickets to come see us during the induction. Bethany's godsister Michelle even made the trip from Tennesse. Our hospital room has had more foot traffic than Amsterdam's red light district on a hot August night. You may ask, "what are the benefits?" Two words - free food.

Are we there yet?

Today our precious baby is one week past its due date. Mommy and daddy are becoming restless and can't help but wonder if the baby may be saying its first words - "Are we there yet?" We anxiously await the arrival of our little one.

You say nesting...we say hiving

We take exception to the term nesting. As defined, nesting refers to a container or shelter made by two parent birds out of twigs, grass, or other material to hold their eggs and young. This definition leaves no place for other members of the group who contribute to the building of the shelter. Our babie's sweet Auntie Kate has spent countless nights painting a spectacular mural on the wall of the nursery and we will not allow this term to render her unrecognized. Therefore, we have created a new term which we would like to call 'hiving.' This term recognizes the effort of the many bees that work towards a common good - that of the queen. Except in this case, it may be a prince or princess. We salute you Auntie Kate and are proud to have you as a member of our swarm. You are sweet as honey!
